The highly-anticipated Auto Unlock for Apple Watch and macOS Sierra is now available for developers. Auto Unlock was one of the accentuated features at Worldwide Developers Conference 2016 (WWDC), giving users the power to wirelessly unlock Mac laptops with Apple Watches.
Auto Unlock is compatible with a “2013 or later” Mac and also requires macOS Sierra Developer Preview Seed 2.
Apple also reports that Apple Watch users are required to install watchOS 3 beta 2 for Auto Unlock to function with watchOS 3 beta 1 and also have the Two-Factor Authentication established for both Mac and Apple Watch.
